Clients diagnosed with anorexia nervosa may have life-threatening conditions due to this eating disorder if extreme weight loss, Slow heartbeat (bradycardia)  irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia), Low blood pressure (hypotension) these symptom occurring the client may be at risk for death.

  • Anorexia formally referred to as anorexia nervosa, is an disorder . People with anorexia limit the amount of calories and the types of food they eat. Eventually, they reduce or cannot maintain an appropriate body weight based on their height, age, stature and physical health.
  • They'll exercise compulsively and/or purge the food they eat through intentional vomiting and/or misuse of laxatives. Individuals with anorexia even have a distorted self-image of their body and have an intense fear of gaining weight. Anorexia may be a serious condition that requires treatment. Extreme weight loss in people with anorexia can cause malnutrition, dangerous health problems and even death.
