In the human digestive system, particularly in the Esophagus digestion can not occur.

Esophagus, is a muscle tube that transports the unfinished meal from the mouth to the stomach for further absorption. As a result, the esophagus is one area of the digestive tract where digestion is not completed.

- Tube 1: HCl breaks down salivary amylase

- Tube 2: no digestive enzyme, no bile

- Tube 3: no pancreatic enzymes

- Tube 4: boiling denatures salivary amylase and absence of Pepsin.

Egg digestion occurs in the small intestine not in the Esophagus.

Pepsin digests egg white.

 • Pepsin is a peptidase, a special enzyme with the function to degrade proteins into amino acids. Like all enzymes, pepsin is also a protein.
 • The small intestine, where the majority of protein digestion takes place, receives the chyme from the stomach that contains the broken-down egg particles. More enzymes are present in the digestive juice the pancreas secretes, which further breaks down the protein fragments.

A type of transport protein found in the plasma membrane of cells lining the inside of the intestine allows sodium ions to diffu
harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

The transport protein would best be described as the activity of the sodium potassium pump. However, none of the alternatives are correct.

Explanation:

Letter A: stopping the activity of the sodium potassium pump is incorrect because, it is the only mechanism of transport our organism has to move proteins into the cell. So, if we stop it or inhibit the sodium potassium pump, we will cause damage into the heart and intestine cells.

Letter B: Increasing the concentration of glucose outside of the cell is incorrect because, on normal conditions the glucose tends to outflow the cell, so the correct answer would be reduce the concentration of glucose outside of the cell, so that the amount of the glucose remain inside of the cell.

Letter C: lowering the energy of activation has nothing to do with this process at all.

Letter D: Increasing the number of digestive enzymes does not have anything to do with this process neither.

The letter A could be the write answer, if could delete the word stopping.
