The answer is- The balanced equation is   2Na + O_2→Na_2O_2.

A balanced chemical equation is the one in which there is same number of each types of atoms on both the reactant and product side.

An unbalanced chemical reaction violates which law?

  • To balance the equation, we keep the count of the elements balanced on both sides of the reaction which maintains the same total mass of elements on both sides.
  • Thus, if an equation is not balanced, then it violates the law of conservation of mass.
  • Now, the chemical formula of sodium peroxide (industrial bleach) isNa_2O_2. Thus, its constituent elements are sodium (Na) and oxygen (O).
  • Therefore, the chemical equation is -Na +O_2→Na_2O_2
  • But the above equation is not balanced as the number of Na atoms is not same on both sides of the arrow. To balance this, coefficient 2 is added in front of Na.
  • Hence, the balanced equation is   2Na + O_2→Na_2O_2.

A solution is 0.0433 m lif. what is the molarity of the solution if the density is 1.10 g/ml
Otrada [13]

Molarity is the number of moles of solute in one liter of solution whereas molality is the number of moles of solute present in 1 kilo gram of solution.

Molarity is denoted by M and molality denoted by m

m = (n) * (1000 /w_A) = 0.0433 m

M_B = 26 g /mol

W_A = 1 kg = 1000 g

(W_B /26) * (1000 /1000) = 0.0433

W_B = 1.12 g

Mass of solution

W_B + W_A = 1.12 + 1000 = 1001.12 g

Density of solution  = 1.1 g /mL

d = 1.1 = (W_B + W_A) /V

1.1 = (1001.12) /V

V = 910.11 mL

molarity of solution is:

M = (n) * (1000 /V)

= 0.0433 /0.910 = 0.0474 M

Thus, moalrity of solution is 0.0474 M

What is one characteristic of the groundwater that forms caves? A. It is very hot. B. It is very cold. C. It is slightly acidic.
QveST [7]

Answer: Groundwater that forms caves because it is slightly acidic.

Explanation:

The water under the ground present inside the cracks and spaces in sand, soil and rocks is called ground water.

When ground water moves through the soil it results in the formation of acid. Further, this acid helps minerals to get dissolve. These minerals get deposited on other places as well.

This process of deposition and erosion helps in the formation of caves.

Thus, it can be concluded that groundwater that forms caves because it is slightly acidic.
