Qualifications for Justices, such as age, education, occupation, or citizenship of native birth, are not listed in the Constitution. Although a Justice need not have attended law school or be a practicing attorney, they have all received legal training.

<u>- Qualifications and experiences for candidates for the Supreme court :</u>

- However, the majority of justices typically start their terms in their 40s or 50s and are free to serve on the bench for as long as they like or until they are removed for bad conduct. Most of the President's nominees for the Supreme Court are his or her friends.

- Before being nominated, the vast majority of them went to law school, practiced as attorneys, or were judges. In fact, throughout the court's lengthy existence, the majority of the justices served in some capacity in the government before being confirmed.
