Model for the Combined variation  is  F = \frac{km}{d^{2} }

Equation to find the mass of the rocket in terms of F and d is :

m=\frac{F d^{2} }{k}

<h3>What is Force ?</h3>

A force is the quantity that change the motion of the object. Force is that influence which can cause any object having some mass, to change it's position or to accelerate from it's original position.

Force (F) and mass (m) of any object are  directly proportional to each other. More the mass of the object , more the force will require to accelerate it.

Mathematically, we can write the equation of force as :

F = m . a

where , m = mass of the object

             a = constant value

In the statement given,

As, force of gravity varies directly with its mass

Therefore, F= k m , where k is a constant

Also force is inversely varies with square of distance d

Thus, F = k / d²

Combining both equations :

F = \frac{km}{d^{2} }

and the equation of mass in terms of F and d can be written as :

m=\frac{F d^{2} }{k}

Another one omg this is annoying
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Correct option: first one

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation f(x) = 5x + 1 is a function, because each value of x gives only one  value of y.

Now let's find the inverse by switching f(x) by x and x by f'(x), then isolating f'(x):

x = 5f'(x) + 1

5f'(x) = x - 1

f'(x) = \frac{x - 1}{5}

The inverse f'(x) is also a function, because each value of x gives only one value of x.

So we have that both the equation and its inverse are function, therefore the correct answer is the first option.

Analyzing a Graph In Exercise, analyze and sketch the graph of the function. Lable any relative extrema, points of inflection, a
tigry1 [53]

Answer:

x=1 is the minima

No point of inflection

y axis is asymptote

Step-by-step explanation:

A function is given by

y=x-lnx

Let us use derivatives to find extrema point of intersection etc

y' = 1-1/x\\y"=1/x^2\\y"' = 2/x^3

We find that second derivative cannot be equal to 0 for any value of x.

Hence there are no points of inflection.

Equate I derivative to 0

x =1

At x=1 I derivative is 0 and II derivative positive. So minima at x=1 and y =1

ln x is not defined for 0 or negative values of x

Hence asymptote is x=0 or y axis

Domain is (0,infty)

Range is (1,infty)

Since I derivative is negative for x <1 and positive for x>1

decreasing in (0,1) and increasing in (1,infty)

which statement is true about the equations -3x+4y=12 and 1 over 4 x - 1 over 3 y =1 A) The system of the equations has exactly
Citrus2011 [14]

Hi again :)

We need to solve -3x+4y=12 for x

Let's start by adding -4y to both sides

-3x+4y-4y=12-4y

-3x=-4y+12

x = (-4y+12)/-3

x= 4/3 y -4

Now substitute 4/3 y -4 for x in 1/4 x - 1/3 y =1

1/4 x -1/3 y =1

1/4 (4/3 y -4) -1/3 y =1

Use the distributive property

(1/4)(4/3 y) + (1/4)(-4) -1/3 y =1

1/3 y -1 - 1/3 y =1

Now combine like terms

(1/3y -1/3y) + (-1) =1

= -1

-1 = 1

Now add 1 to both sides

0=2

So there are no Solutions

The answer is C

I hope that's help Will :)
