For this case we have different effectiveness using two conditions the first one with to students who chose the professor as the chair of their doctoral committe and the second is associated to all students and we see a different effectiveness

This is a clear example of an error in the A)Data Gathering Phase

And the reason is because they introduce bias in the study just selecting students who select the professor as the chair of their doctoral committee, and it's very evident when they select all the students the real results change

Write the explicit rule,
meriva

Answer:

a_{n} = 20n + 12

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a common difference d between consecutive terms, that is

d = 52 - 32 = 72 - 52 = 92 - 72 = 20

This indicates the sequence is arithmetic with explicit formula

a_{n} = a₁ + (n - 1)d

where a₁ is the first term and d the common difference

Here a₁ = 32 and d = 20, thus

a_{n} = 32 + 20(n - 1) = 32 + 20n - 20 = 20n + 12

How do you solve the inequality 12 < x + 5 so that the variable "x" is on the left side?
Eduardwww [97]
The like terms are 12 and 5, so you have to subtract 5 from both sides.
12 < x + 5
-5. -5
7 < x
We can just switch it around so x is in the left side.
x > 7

Answer:

12% decrease

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the percent decrease, take the original amount and subtract the new amount

650-572=78

Divide this amount by the original amount
