y - 2 = (-3/2)(x + 6)

y - 2 = (-3/2)x - 9

y = (-3/2)x - 9 + 2

y = (-3/2)x - 7

2y = -3x - 14

3x + 2y = -14

Therefore , The equation of the line that passes through the points (-6 , 2) and (-4 , -1) is 3x + 2y = -14 .
