Yes, A judge has power to overrule a decision.

A jury verdict may be overturned by the judge in any trial when there is inadequate evidence to back it or if the decision awarded insufficient compensatory damages. The judge is the final arbiter in any trial.

Two situations call for the use of overrule: (1) when a lawyer challenges the legality of evidence at trial; and (2) when an appeal court renders its decision.

The process of overruling involves a court lower on the legal food chain overturning a decision made in a prior case. The judgments of subordinate courts may be overturned by higher courts. Supreme courts have the authority to reverse precedents that have been set by lower courts. The United States Supreme Court is the highest court in the country when it comes to setting precedent and deciding decisions that fall under its purview.

Answer:

Judiciary Act 1801

Explanation:

The judiciary act of 1801 which was overturned by the Jeffersonian republicans were part of the politically-motivated attempt made by the federalists in the U.S congress and the administration of John Adams to fill the federal courts with federalists. Federal courts were used as political means to persecute those who criticized the actions of the federalists and a strong political opposition came into place by Thomas Jefferson, and his team helped in passing the Federal Judiciary act of 1801.

The number of Supreme Court judges was reduced from six to five by the act and the act also created six new federal circuit courts in different region of the United States of America.

Answer: Social dumping

Explanation:

Social dumping is employers ' method of using cheaper labor than is usually available at their production or sales site. In the latter case, it hires migrant workers; in the former, it transfers production to a low-wage country or area. Therefore, the company will save money and potentially increase its profit. Systemic analysis indicates that governments are therefore forced to participate in a so-called social policy system by increasing their labor and social standards in order to ease labor costs for businesses and maintain business activity within their jurisdiction.

Entities derived from social dumping:
