Despite the fact that native Australians have lived on the mainland for tens of thousands of years and have traded with people on adjacent islands, the first European to set foot on Australian soil was in 1606.

Where were the earliest inhabitants of Australia from?

Aboriginal origins: It is claimed that humans first arrived in Northern Australia via migration from Asia in simple boats. According to a popular belief, those early immigrants left Africa themselves some 70,000 years ago, making Aboriginal Australians the oldest group of people living outside of Africa.

When did the earliest inhabitants of the Australian continent arrive?

Archaeological evidence, genetic research, and estimations from molecular clocks all point to the first modern humans colonizing Sahul and Australia between 48,000 and 50,000 years ago. Archaeological sites with ages greater than 30,000 years old have been found rather frequently in the previous few decades.

When people ask questions such as, "if god is all-powerful, all-knowing, and just, then how is it possible that there is so much
mina [271]
They are asking about what is known as omnipotence. Omnipotence is an idea (typically in monotheistic religions) where a single being is all-powerful. This of course raises the aforementioned question of how a being could be both all-powerful and simultaneously be merciful in a world where suffering exists. A merciful and omnipotent god should be able and willing to prevent all suffering according to this idea.

What are some similarities and differences of the Roman and Greek government?
ValentinkaMS [17]

The similarities between Greek and Roman government were that both favored aristocratic rule, both believed that their citizens should have a right to participate in politics and military service and they both governments were made up of several city states.

The differences were that the Greek government did not have political parties. If a Roman official was unwanted in office, the citizens would vote him off and just be glad that he wasn't governing them anymore, but if a Greek official was unwanted he'd be kicked off, ostracized, and banned from Athens for 10 years. Also, the Romans didn't allow women to vote, but women of upper class citizenship could influence their husband's vote.

Sorry, if the information isn't enough.
