Answer: These are the methods of energy transformation

Explanation:

 • 1- Heat transfer :- it is the movement of heat from one substance or material to another. Heat transfer takes place through three principals- Conduction, Radiation, Convection.
 • 2- Conduction :- it is the process by which heat energy is transmitted through collisions between neighboring atoms and molecules.
 • 3- Convection :- it is the transfer of heat between two bodies by currents of moving gas or fluids.
 • 4- Radiation :- it is energy that comes from source and travels through space at the speed of light.

Explanation: hope this helps

1. Heat transfer describes the flow of heat (thermal energy) due to temperature differences and the subsequent temperature distribution and changes.

2. Conduction describes the process by which heat energy is transmitted through collisions between neighbouring atoms or molecules. (Basically, it happens more readily in solids and liquids, where the particles are closer together)

3. Convection describes the process by which heat is transferred by the movement of a heated fluid such as air or water.

4. Radiation describes the energy that comes from a source and travels through space at the speed of light. This energy has an electric field and a magnetic field associated with it. It has wave-like properties so you could also call radiation “electromagnetic waves”.

7. Ionic bonds are at one end of the bond spectrum. What kinds of bonds are at the other end?
blondinia [14]

Answer:

non-polar covalent bonds

this is when the electronegativity difference between the two non-metal atoms is very little to cause a partial charge (delta positive and delta negative; δ+ and δ-) on the atoms

Which compound is a polar molecule and has a linear geometry
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

Linear molecule is a molecule in which atoms are deployed in a straight line (under 180° angle). Molecules with an linear electron pair geometries have sp hybridization at the central atom. An example of linear electron pair and molecular geometry are carbon dioxide (O=C=O) and beryllium hydride BeH2.

What is the ph of a saturated zinc hydroxide solution
Tanya [424]
Ksp = 1.2 x 10^-17 = [Zn2+] [OH-]^2
Zn(OH)2 <----> Zn2+ + 2OH-
[Zn2+] = x
[OH-] = 2x
1.2 x 10^-17 = (x) ( 2x)^2 = 4 x ^3
x = 1.4 x 10^-6 M
2x = 2.8 x 10^-6 M
pOH = - log 2.8 x 10^-6 = 5.5
pH = 14 - 5.5 =8.5

i think this is it

HELP
How can you tell if mass is being conserved
Murljashka [212]
I can help say like gas is steaming from a pot like you cooking on the gas is being conserved after it evaporates and liquid if you drink water it’s going into your body so it’s being conserved and solid said like i have a brick and you throw it and it breaks it had been conserved because it’s broken
