The values of the variables associated ot translation operations are (w, x, y, z) = (3, 1, 0, 2 / 3).

How to determine the values of the variables associated to translation operations

Herein we find two translation cases of points set on Cartesian plane. Translations are rigid operations of the form:

P'(x, y) = P(x, y) + T(x, y)

Where:

 • P(x, y) - Original point
 • P'(x, y) - Resulting point
 • T(x, y) - Translation vector

Now we proceed to determine the values of the variables w, x, y, z behind each translation operation, substitute on each component and solve the resulting formula:

T(x, y) = A'(x, y) - A(x, y)

(2 · x + 1, 4) - (- 1, w) = (4, 1)

(2 · x + 2, 4 - w) = (4, 1)

(x, w) = (1, 3)

T(x, y) = B'(x, y) - B(x, y)

(3, 3 · z) - (8 · y - 1, 1) = (4, 1)

(4 - 8 · y, 3 · z - 1) = (4, 1)

(y, z) = (0, 2 / 3)

The height and diameter of a cone-shaped storage tank are 9 feet (height) and 14 feet
lana [24]

Answer: 461.60 is the volume of liquid the tank can hold.

Step-by-step explanation:

We were given;

Height H = 9 ft

Diameter D = 14 ft

Pie π = 3.14

We will make use the formula of volume of a cone to get volume of water the tank can hold because it is said that the tank is in the shape of a cone

So

V = 1/3 * πr2h

First we need to find our radius r

Radius = 1/2 of diameter = 14/2 = 7

So using the formula

V = 1/3 * πr2h

V = 1/3 (3.14 * 7² * 9)

V = (3.14 * 49 * 9)/3

V = 1384.74 / 3

V = 461.58 = 461.60 (nearest ten)

Hi, thx for helping
Sliva [168]

Answer:

C. 8.52624...

Step-by-step explanation:

The reason that C is different is because all of the other decimals are terminating decimals (meaning that they end or stop), while C is a repeating decimal, because it never ends.
