<span>Cells are basically the basic units of life. Organisms are made up of cells that carry out metabolic reactions in which energy is given off to the organism. Without the energy produced by the cells the organisms organs will not function as well therefore leading to a possible death for the organism. Cells have many other functions that are vital for the organism to grow as well function properly. Cells help the organism gain oxygen throughout the body therefore if no oxygen is present due to if the cells were to stop working the organism would die. Long story short cells are vital for the survival of the organism otherwise that organism would face death.

So that would be </span><span>B) The respiratory system would fail, and then the entire organism would suffer.

How is the Un-DSM different from the DSM-IV-TR?
Ede4ka [16]

Answer:

In the DSM-IV, patients only needed one symptom present to be diagnosed with substance abuse, while the DSM-5 requires two or more symptoms in order to be diagnosed with substance use disorder. The DSM-5 eliminated the physiological subtype and the diagnosis of polysubstance dependence.

From the Periodic table, it can be determined that iron (Fe) has an atomic mass of 56 amu, oxygen (O) has an atomic mass of 16 a
harina [27]

If iron (Fe) has an atomic mass of 56 amu, oxygen (O) has an atomic mass of 16 amu, and hydrogen (H) has a mass of 1 amu, the atomic mass of Fe(OH)3 would be 107amu (option B).

<h3>What is atomic mass?</h3>

Atomic mass is the average mass of atoms of an element. The mass number of a compound can be calculated by summing the atomic masses of each element in the compound.

According to this question, the periodic table reveals that iron (Fe) has an atomic mass of 56 amu, oxygen (O) has an atomic mass of 16 amu, and hydrogen (H) has a mass of 1 amu.

The atomic mass of Fe(OH)3 can be calculated as follows:

= 56 + (16 + 1)3

= 56 + 51

= 107amu

Therefore, if iron (Fe) has an atomic mass of 56 amu, oxygen (O) has an atomic mass of 16 amu, and hydrogen (H) has a mass of 1 amu, the atomic mass of Fe(OH)3 would be 107amu.

Can you tell from your experiment so far whether the tapes carry a positive charge or a negative charge? Briefly explain your an
Softa [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Electric charge is the physical property of matter that causes it to experience a force when placed in an electromagnetic field. There are two types of electric charge: positive and negative (commonly carried by protons and electrons respectively). Like charges repel each other and unlike charges attract each other. An object with an absence of net charge is referred to as neutral. Early knowledge of how charged substances interact is now called classical electrodynamics, and is still accurate for problems that do not require consideration of quantum effects.

Electric charge is a conserved property; the net charge of an isolated system, the amount of positive charge minus the amount of negative charge, cannot change. Electric charge is carried by subatomic particles. In ordinary matter, negative charge is carried by electrons, and positive charge is carried by the protons in the nuclei of atoms. If there are more electrons than protons in a piece of matter, it will have a negative charge, if there are fewer it will have a positive charge, and if there are equal numbers it will be neutral. Charge is quantized; it comes in integer multiples of individual small units called the elementary charge, e, about 1.602×10−19 coulombs,[1] which is the smallest charge which can exist freely (particles called quarks have smaller charges, multiples of

e, but they are only found in combination, and always combine to form particles with integer charge). The proton has a charge of +e, and the electron has a charge of −e.

An electric charge has an electric field, and if the charge is moving it also generates a magnetic field. The combination of the electric and magnetic field is called the electromagnetic field, and its interaction with charges is the source of the electromagnetic force, which is one of the four fundamental forces in physics. The study of photon-mediated interactions among charged particles is called quantum electrodynamics.

How are stars sorted?
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

Classifying Stars Astronomers sort stars in a series of "bins" using these characteristics: temperature, mass, chemical composition, and more. Based on its temperature, brightness, and mass, the Sun is classified as a middle-aged star that is in a period of its life called the "main sequence".
