Bright Company manufactured mirrors which require 8 square feet of glass per
Katena32 [7]

8800 square feet are required in February.

Explanation:

 • For one mirror 8 square feet of glass is needed. Bright needs to produce 700 units in February. For one square foot, the glass costs $3.
 • February's production needs 5600 square feet of glass. So it equals 700 * 8 square feet per unit. The end product should be 5440 feet of glass.
 • This should be 1700 * 8 square feet per unit. So the ending inventory should be 5440 + 5600 which should be 11,040 units. Already 2240 feet are at the beginning of the month.
 • So 8800 square feet is required in this month.

Why is personal selling emphasized in business markets and advertising emphasized in consumer markets?
Ilya [14]

Answer:

With personal selling, the salespeople go out into the market and explain the benefits of a product in person. This is what businesses prefer because they have to make large scale purchase decisions and so would like to develop a personal relationship with the supplier that will enable them to have all the information they need.

There is also a need for customization in the business market because business might want the goods supplied to be adjusted in a certain way to enable them process and sell it.

This is different from the consumer market where purchases are not as large scale and there is little need to customize goods. Advertising to the general public is therefore better because the goods would be standard and there would be no need for personal relationships as in the business market.

Internet service providers are an example of organizations that provide both products and services. true or false
astraxan [27]

The statement that internet service providers are capable of providing products and services is false.

 • Internet service providers cannot be an example of organizations that can provide both goods and services.
 • This is because, internet service providing organizations fall under the category of organizations that are especially known for only being able to provide services.
 • Some other organizations that produce services alone, also include commercial banks and consulting firms.
 • Therefore, the statement cannot be true.

Thus, from the above reasons it is clear that internet service providers can only provide services.
