It is really simple take 5 1/5 and divide it by 2 1/6 t get 2 30/78 you can then simplify that to get 2 5/13.  Then divide since it take 60 seconds for a minute divide 60 by 13 to get 4.61, multiply that by 5 to get 23.05.  Then add that to 2 and I believe that the ant can crawl 5 1/5 feet in 2 minutes and 23 seconds.  Or take 1/6 and 1/5 and try to get the same denominator.  6 x 5 is 30 and 5 x 6 is 30 so 1/6 = 5/30 and 1/5 = 6/30.  Then it is 2 5/30 and 5 6/30 divide them to get 2 2/5 minutes.  Or that can be turned into 2 minutes and 24 seconds.  Hope this helped if not then I am truly sorry.

For 2 1/6 = 13/6 Ft, ant takes = 1 min.
So, for 1 ft, it takes = 6/13 min.

Now, for 5 1/5 = 26/5 min. it would take = 6/13 * 26/512/5 = 2.4 min

In short, Your Answer would be 2.4 min

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Zero

Step-by-step explanation:

The temperature will remain constant over time. This means the slope of the graph will be constant from one point of the graph to the other, which cancels out to zero.

The gradient of the line segment between the points (2,-3) and (4,-7).
skad [1K]

To find the gradient of a line you use this equation: Rise / Run

I am assuming this is a graph where both the x and y-axis increase in value by one.

So first of all, you should draw out this graph.

Second, draw a point at each of the given coordinates.

Now, join these points by drawing a right angle triangle. Put simply, draw a line from the point (4, -7) down until it is on the same level as the point (2, -3), then draw a line across.

Finally, measure the length of both these sides and use them in the equation above.

Let's assume the rise (vertical line) and the run (horizontal line) are 5 and 8 respectively. We can do 5/8 to get a gradient which is 0.625.
