The variable A would most likely be your "independent variable."

This is just standard convention. Nothing is really saying that your independent variable can not be on your Y axis; it is just widely accepted to put your changing variable on the x and your dependent variable on the y axis.

9x + 8 y = -6
-9x - 9y - 9
Elimination
kolezko [41]

Answer:

x = 2, y = -3

Step-by-step explanation:

Add them together and get

9x + 8y - 9x - 9y = -6 + 9

-y = 3

so y = -3.

Sub it into the first equation and get

9x + 8(-3) = -6

9x - 24 = -6

9x = -6 + 24 = 18

x = 18/9 = 2

Tatiana [17]

Answer:

m\angle g=61^o

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

If two angles are complementary then their sum is equal to 90 degrees.

In this problem

m\angle g+29^o=90^o -----> by complementary angles

subtract 29° both sides

m\angle g=90^o-29^o\\m\angle g=61^o
