Just convert to standard form using Ax + By = C = -(A/B) where A = -9 and B = 5.
m = -9/1 which translates to -9.
Our slope is -9.

Answer:

Slope= -9

Step-by-step explanation:

Remember that functions in the form of the slope are represented like this:

Y=mx+c

The function that is given to us just moves C of place, and the m is the number that is located right aside of the variable x, so the slope is -9, this is how much would the graph will grow or decrease with the increase on the value of the variable x.

20. Short Response A company is experimenting with two new boxes for packaging merchandise. Each box is a cube with the side len
Anni [7]
We are tasked to solve for the ratio of the two boxes. Boxes are cubes. We can use the formula in solving the surface area of the box as shown below:
Surface Area of Cube = 6a² where "a" is the length of the side.
For smaller box:
Area= 6(12)²=864
Area =864
For the larger box:
Area = 6(18)²
Area=1944

Then, the ratio is:
Area smaller box/Area larger box =864/1944
Ratio=4:9

I'm may not be that good at math, but I'm going to try my best to help you, because I know how it feels to be in this situation!

The first one :
You might be right on D. But I'm thinking B also. The question asks "Which could be a cross section of a rectangular pyramid that has been intersected by a plane perpendicular".  But a triangle is basically a flat pyramid.

(I'm typing really fast to help!!!!)

Second one: Its B!! Look at it really closely! You'll get it!!!

(Going really fast now!!!!)

Third one: Between B or D!!! But I think you're right on your choice!!!!

(FASTER FASTER!!!)

FINALLY: Copy and paste your answers into google. People have asked the same question!

I hope I helped. I don't want to make you fail, as I am in the SAME similar situation as you! I really REALLY REALLY HOPE YOU PASS!!!

This is called the Pythagorean theorem : a ² + b ² = c ². You can substitute any of the variable with any of the known numbers and then you all you have to do is isolate the variable. I hope that helps!!
