Answer and Explanation:

The special thermodynamic meaning of the words Aergonic and Adiabatic are described below:

1. Adiabatic:

A process that is carried out in such a way that it does not results in any transfer of heat and transfers energy  to the surrounding only in the form of work.

For example:

All the processes that occur in an insulated system.

2. Aergonic:

A process that is carried out in such a way that there is no work mode present is known as Aergonic process.

For example:

All the processes that are carried out in rigid and closed systems.

A scientist makes observations of a forest environment. Describe an example of a pattern that the scientist might’ve observe
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

The answer is different types of animals and plants, and the forest soil.

Explanation:

A forest Ecosystems consist of different animals and plants found there as well as the soil that in-habitat several microorganisms. While explaining the details of forest ecosystem is it important to describe that what kind of animals are found there and what is the role of forest soil in the growth of plantation found there.

An incremental encoder is rotating at 15 rpm. On the wheel there are 40 holes. How many degrees of rotation would 1 pulse be?
elena-s [515]

Answer:

1 pulse rotate = 9 degree

Explanation:

given data

incremental encoder rotating = 15 rpm

wheel holes = 40

solution

we get here first 1 revolution time

as 15 revolution take = 60 second

so 1 revolution take = \frac{60}{15}

1 revolution take = 4 seconds

and

40 pulse are there for 1 revolution

40 pulse for 360 degree

so 1 pulse rotate is = \frac{360}{40}

1 pulse rotate = 9 degree

A trapezoidal section has a 5.0-ft bed width, 2.5-ft depth, and 1:1 side slope. Evaluate its geometric elements (Area, water dep
aleksley [76]

Answer:

a) 18.75 ft^2

b) 2.5 ft

c) 12.07 ft

d) 10 ft

e) 1.553 ft

f) 1.875 ft

Explanation:

Given data :

5.0-ft bed width, ( b )

2.5-ft depth ( y )

1 : 1 side slope

Evaluate

a) Area of trapezoidal section

A = by + my^2

we assume m = 1

A = [5 + (1 * 2.5 ) ] *2.5

   = ( 7.5 ) 2.5  = 18.75 ft^2

b) Calculate water depth

water depth = 2.5 ft

c) Calculate wetted perimeter

P = b + 2y √ 1 + m^2

  = 5 + (2.5*2) √ 1 + 1 ^2  =   12.07 ft

d) calculate top width

    T = b + 2my

       = 5 + 2 ( 1 * 2.5 ) = 10 ft

e) calculate hydraulic radius

R = A / P = 18.75 / 12.07

               = 1.553 ft

f) calculate hydraulic depth

 D = A / T = 18.75 / 10 = 1.875 ft
