Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

5x + y = 21 → (1)

x - 3y = 9 → (2)

Multiply (1) by 3 and add the result to (2) to eliminate y term

15x + 3y = 63 → (3)

Add (2) and (3) term by term

(x + 15x) + )- 3y + 3y) = (9 + 63)

16x = 72 ( divide both sides by 16 )

x = 4.5

Substitute x = 4.5 into (1) for corresponding value of y

22.5 + y = 21 ( subtract 22.5 from both sides )

y = - 1.5

Solution is (4.5, - 1.5 )

An adult brain is about 140 mm wide and divided into two sections (called "hemispheres" although the brain is not truly spherica
Sedbober [7]

Answer: 3.61×10^5 A

Step-by-step explanation: Since the brain has been modeled as a current carrying loop, we use the formulae for the magnetic field on a current carrying loop to get the current on the hemisphere of the brain.

The formulae is given below as

B = u×Ia²/2(x²+a²)^3/2

Where B = strength of magnetic field on the axis of a circular loop = 4.15T

u = permeability of free space = 1.256×10^-6 mkg/s²A²

I = current on loop =?

a = radius of loop.

Radius of loop is gotten as shown... Radius = diameter /2, but diameter = 65mm hence radius = 32.5mm = 32.5×10^-3 m = 3.25×10^-2m

x = distance of the sensor away from center of loop = 2.10 cm = 0.021m

By substituting the parameters into the formulae, we have that

4.15 = 1.256×10^-6 × I × (3.25×10^-2)²/2{(0.021²) + (3.25×10^-2)²}^3/2

4.15 = 13.2665 × 10^-10 × I/ 2( 0.00149725)^3/2

4.15 = 1.32665 ×10^-9 × I / 2( 0.000058)

4.15 × 2( 0.000058) = 1.32665 ×10^-9 × I

I = 4.15 × 2( 0.000058)/ 1.32665 ×10^-9

I = 4.80×10^-4 / 1.32665 ×10^-9

I = 3.61×10^5 A

Magnitude statistics allow one to draw general conclusions about a population from information collected in a population sample.
kow [346]

inferential statistics allows for someone to draw conclusions about a population from the information collected in a population sample.

the qestion is incomplete .please read below to find the missing content

Which of the following allows for someone to draw conclusions about a population from the information collected in a population sample?

a. magnitude statistics

b. central tendency

c. inferential statistics

d. effect size

The population is the number of people living together in a place. The population of a city is the number of people living in that city. These people are called residents or residents. The population includes all individuals living in that particular area.

Population refers to the total number of organisms living in a particular area. Population helps us estimate the number of beings and know how to act accordingly. For example, knowing the exact population of a city allows us to estimate the number of resources required. Similarly, animals can do the same.

What is the volume of a pyramid<br> 4 cm,4 cm by 12 cm
Alenkinab [10]

<u>Answer: </u>

The volume of pyramid with dimensions 4cm , 4cm by 12cm is \bold{64 \mathrm{cm}^{3}}

<u>Solution: </u>

Volume of a pyramid can be found out by using the below formula,

\bold{v = \frac{1}{3} l w h}

where,

v is the volume of pyramid

l is the length of pyramid

w is the width of pyramid

h is the height of pyramid

from question, given that l = 4 ; w = 4; h = 12

hence the volume of pyramid for the given dimensions is

v = \frac{1}{3} \times 4 \times 4 \times 12

= 4 \times 4 \times 4

= 64 \mathrm{cm}^{3}

So the volume of pyramid is \bold{64 \mathrm{cm}^{3}}

Simplify the given expression below 4/3-2i
ANTONII [103]
So-called simplifying, really means, "rationalizing the denominator", which is another way of saying, "getting rid of that pesky radical in the bottom"

\bf \cfrac{4}{3-2i}\cdot \cfrac{3+2i}{3+2i}\impliedby \textit{multiplying by the conjugate of the bottom}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\cfrac{4(3+2i)}{(3-2i)(3+2i)}\implies \cfrac{4(3+2i)}{3^2-(2i)^2}\implies \cfrac{4(3+2i)}{3^2-(4i^2)}\\\\&#10;-------------------------------\\\\&#10;recall\qquad i^2=-1\\\\&#10;-------------------------------\\\\&#10;\cfrac{4(3+2i)}{3^2-(4\cdot -1)}\implies \cfrac{4(3+2i)}{9+4}\implies \cfrac{12+8i}{13}\implies \cfrac{12}{13}+\cfrac{8}{13}i
