The simple way to dilate from the origin is to multiply each coordinate by the dilation factor.
Example:
point A(2,-4) dilated by 2
A'(2*2, -4*2) = A'(4, -8)

Point A dilated by 1/2
A''(2*1/2, -4*1/2) = A''(1, -2)

If you have multiple points dilated by the same factor, then follow the procedure for ALL the points
