The preimage WXYZ is to undergo a rotation of 90° in the clockwise direction.
A 90° clockwise rotation leads to the following change in the coordinates;
(x,y) -> after rotation (y,-x)
this rule applies for all the vertices in the preimage
W - (3,-5)  --> W' (-5,-3)
X - (1,-3) ---> X' (-3,-1)
Y - (-1,-5)---> Y' (-5,1)
Z - (1,-7) ---> Z' (-7,-1)
therefore the new coordinates are W' (-5,-3), X' (-3,-1), Y' (-5,1) and Z' (-7,-1)

Expand
ddd [48]

Answer:

The working of expressions is shown below.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following information:

a) Expand

3(x+4)\\3\times x + 3\times 4\\3x + 12

b) Expand and simplify

4(x+5)-2(x-3)\\=(4x + 20) -(2x-6)\\=( 4x-2x) + (20 + 6)\\= 2x + 26\\=2(x +13)

c) Expand

(x+2)(x+7)\\=x\times x + x\times 7 + 2\times x + 2\times 7\\= x^2 + 7x + 2x + 14\\=x^2 + 9x +14

d) Factorize fully

12x-18\\=6(2x-3)

Let f={(-2,4),(-1,2)(0,0)(1,-2),(2,5)}. let g ={(-33),(-1,1),(0,-3)(1,-4)(3,-6)}. What is g(f(2))?
taurus [48]

Answer:

g(f(2)) does not exist if

g={(-3,3),(-1,1),(0,-3),(1,-4),(3,-6)} and f={(-2,4),(-1,2),(0,0),(1,-2),(2,5)}.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi. Welcome to Brainly.

When finding g(f(2)), you must compute f(2) first.

Looking at f={(-2,4),(-1,2),(0,0),(1,-2),(2,5)}, we see that the ordered pair (2,5) is contained within the set defined as the set f. This means f(2)=5.

So now we have g(f(2))=g(5).

We now need to look at our set named g, g={(-3,3),(-1,1),(0,-3),(1,-4),(3,-6)}. We see the the no ordered pair looks like (5,something). The only conclusion is that g(f(2)) does not exist.
