E  =  IVt

Where E is the energy is J
I is the current
V is the voltage
t is time in seconds.

I = 3.2A    V = 110 V,  t = 5 hours.

Since the options are in Wh we would leave the time in hours, and Current * Voltage has a unit of  Watts.

E  =    (3.2 A   *   110 V)    * 5 hours

E =    352 Watts  *  5 hours

E =  1760  Wattshours

E = 1760 Wh

Option C.

What are the three main types of stress in rock
Rzqust [24]
Compression, shearing and tension are the three main types of stresses faced by rocks. In regards to the force of compression, external force acts on the rock to squeeze it until it disintegrates. In case of shearing, the rock is pulled in two opposite directions by force. This ultimately results in the rock breaking down into pieces. Tension is another force that pulls the rock, making it thin in the middle. This way the rock disintegrates as it becomes weaker and weaker in the middle. Most of the rocks present in the earths crust are hugely affected by these three forces.

If the archerfish spits its water 30 degrees from the horizontal aiming at an insect 1.2 m above the surface of the water, how f
Burka [1]

Answer:

The speed is  v =  9.8 \ m/s

Explanation:

From the question w are told that

    The angle  made is \theta  =  30^o

     The distance  above the surface of the water is  h_{max} = 1.2 \ m

     The  value of  g = 10 \  m/s^2

The maximum height attained by the fish is mathematically evaluate as

       h_{max} =  \frac{v^2 sin ^2 \theta }{2g }

Making v which is the speed of the fish the subject of the formula

      v =  \sqrt{ \frac{2gh_{max}}{ sin^2 \theta } }

  substituting values

     v =  \sqrt{ \frac{2*10 *1.2 }{ [sin (30)]^2  } }

     v =  9.8 \ m/s
