The theory of motivation that Jordan's behavior is consistent with is the arousal theory. The arousal theory enables a person to have the feeling of excitement or to be drawn to a particular thing that could be of interest to him or her and it would lead him or her to feel the opposite way if he or she does not feel excited about the activity that he or she is doing or what he or she makes him feel aroused or excited. It could be seen at Jordan's behavior above.
