Answer:

The number is 59

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two digit number be qr.

According to question, q + r = 14

The digits that add to 14 are

1) 59

2) 68

3) 77

4) 86

5) 95

Now,

The reverse of qr is rq.

According to question, rq = 36 + qr

The digit qr cannot be 68,77,86 or 95 because adding 36 to it will result to 3 digit number.

So, qr is 59.

rq = 36 + qr

95 = 36 + 59

The two solids are similar and the ratio between the lengths of their edges is 2:7 what is the ratio of their surface areas?
vovangra [49]

Answer:

The ratio of their surface areas is \frac{4}{49}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

If two figures are similar, then the ratio of its corresponding sides is equal and this ratio is called the scale factor

In this problem the scale factor is equal to the ratio \frac{2}{7}

and

Remember that

If two figures are similar, then the ratio of its surface areas is equal to the scale factor squared

therefore

In this problem the ratio of their surface areas is (\frac{2}{7})^{2}=\frac{4}{49}

Alja [10]

Answer:

The correct answer would be J; \frac{1}{2} r + 2;

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the algebra;

\frac{1}{2}  * r = \frac{1}{2} r

\frac{1}{2} * 4 = 2

Altogether this would give "J" as the answer.

Hope this helps!
