Hello!

Add up the costs of everything Kyle purchased and the tax, and then subtract that from $10.

4.95 + 2.30 + 1.10 + 0.65 = 9

10 - 9 = 1

Kyle should have received $1 change.

The total that he had to pay was 4.95+2.30+1.10 = 8.35
The tax was $0.65
That is total that he pays for food + taxes is $9.00

<span>He will get $1 for change if he paid with $10.00.

Hope this helps :)</span>
