Answer:

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) may be defined as the glucose intolerance at the first recognition of the pregnancy. This occur due to the abnormal secretion of the hormone insulin.

The woman has been diagnosed with GDM. Her health provider will guide her and explains her that this condition might result in the very low or high blood pressure in her baby. If the GDM problem is not maintained properly this directly affect the glucose level of her child after birth.

A guest orders a bowl of clam chowder and asks if soup is gluten free. how should the server respond
frutty [35]

Clam chowder (most chowders, actually) usually contain flour as a soup thickener so no, it's not gluten-free. It is possible to make a gluten-free dish but it'll be thinner. Depends if the resturant will do that or not.

HELP ASAP!! Explain, in 3 to 5 complete sentences, how drug abuse could affect one of the following four areas of your life:
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

Not only can drugs impair teens' cognitive development, they can also affect students' performance in school: their ability to memorize things, concentration in the classroom, prioritization of assignments, likelihood to attend class, and even their overall IQ. There is a definite link between teen substance abuse and how well you do in school. Teens who abuse drugs have lower grades, a higher rate of absence from school and other activities, and an increased potential for dropping out of school.
