Me and my friend are at the gym. We enjoy working out together. The friend of mine has a minor ankle sprain. She suddenly trips and falls. I luckily know what exactly has happened to her. So i will take the following steps to stabilize my friend's injury.

- I will call the first aid department of the gym.

- I will make her lay and keep her feet on my lap.

- I will put an ice bag on her ankle.

- If she is in high pain, I will give her a pain killer tablet for the time being.

- I will then put ankle cap around her feet, just to make sure that her ligaments does not get detached.

- I will then seek a professional help.

- I will take her to the orthopedic for x-ray, just to make sure that she has not suffered any fracture.

The sprain happened when the friend fell and the ligaments (in the ankle) stretched, twisted or possibly tore. Sprain is manifested by pain, swelling, bruising and inability to move.

Here the appropriate steps to stabilize the injury:

1. Call for help.

2. Rest the injured area to avoid further damage.

3. Put ice ( for 15 to 20 minutes) to help limit the swelling.

4. Apply compression bandage to prevent more swelling.

5. Elevate the injured ankle above the heart to limit swelling.

What is the two different types of cholesterol and list example of bad one
STALIN [3.7K]

Answer:

HDL(Good) and LDL(Bad)

Explanation:

LDL (low-density lipoprotein), sometimes called “bad” cholesterol, makes up most of your body’s cholesterol. High levels of LDL cholesterol raise your risk for heart disease and stroke.

HDL (high-density lipoprotein), or “good” cholesterol, absorbs cholesterol and carries it back to the liver. The liver then flushes it from the body. High levels of HDL cholesterol can lower your risk for heart disease and stroke.
