Answer:

The acceleration of the dragster is 13.33

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The Final velocity of car = 65  m/s

The initial velocity of car = 125 m/s

The Time period for change of speed = 4.5 seconds

Now,

Acceleration is define as rate of change of velocity

So, Acceleration = \frac{v_2-v_1}{T}

Or,  Acceleration = \frac{125-65}{4.5}

Or, Acceleration = \frac{60}{4.5}

∴   Acceleration = 13.33

Hence The acceleration of the dragster is 13.33   Answer

If the sum of three consecutive multiples of 7 is 945. Find the smallest among them
Firlakuza [10]

consider first number is = x

formula,

(n / 2)(first number + last number) = sum,

7/2(x+x+6)= 945

2x+6= 945×2/7

2x+6 = 270

2x= 270-6

x=264/2= 132

Answer the smallest number is 132.

A triangle has one angle measuring 3X degrees a second angle measures 2X +20°
Lena [83]
Answer : x = 20

Explanation :
3x + 2x +20 + 4x - 20 = 180

(3+2+4=9)

9x + 20 - 20
The 20s cancel each other out because one is positive and the other is negative

9x = 180

9x/9 = 180/9

X = 180 divided by 9

X = 20

$3000 is invested at 3% annual interest for 3 years.<br> a. Simple Interest b. Compound Interest
stich3 [128]

Answer:

a. $270

b. $3,278.18

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

The principal amount is $3,000

Annual rate of interest is 3%

And, the time period is  3 years

We need to find out the simple interest & compound interest

The following formulas should be used

a. For simple interest

= Principal × rate of interest × time period

= $3,000 × 3% × 3 years

= $270

b. For compound interest

= Principal × (1 + rate of interest)^time period

= $3,000 × (1 + 0.03)3

= $3,000 × 1.03^3

= $3,278.18
