<u>Benefits</u>

The United states of America is a diverse  country and it has large populations who speak various languages. The lack of an official language is considered a normal way to foster and preserve the languages and cultures of the natives. Therefore it is not realistic to designate one official language and ignores the historical and current linguistic diversity of the country.

<u>Problems </u>

Although it is harsh to digest that one of the  most powerful nation, leading the economy at the global stage, lacks an official language. Some people also stated that an official language benefits the unity of nation. But the historical scenario of the country differs in this case.
