There's numerous natural events that affect the environment, and they can be with bigger or lesser impact compared to how much the humans affect the environment, depending on the intensity and which type of natural event we are talking about.

Some of the natural events that affect the environment are the volcanic activity and the plate tectonics.

The volcanic activity can have global effect, regional one, or only local one, depending on the activity. If there's a large scale volcanic activity across the globe by numerous large volcanoes, than the impact on the environment will huge, not comparable to anything the humans have caused so far.

The plate tectonics are a very slow process, but they have a global impact. If lets say the continental plates start moving and eventually are all positioned around the two poles, that will have a huge impact on the environment, as most, if not all of the land masses will be covered in ice and have very low and extreme temperatures, which is also something that the human activities can not compare to.

A haploid human genome consists of 3 billion base pairs. If the distance between each base pair is 0.34 nm (a nanometer is one b
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

The answer is 6.8 meters.

Explanation:

During the S phase of the cell replication, the DNA is doubled before the division of the cell which means that it is twice it's original length.

At 0.34 nanometers, 3 billion base pairs (3.000.000.000) comes up to 3.4 meters and during the S phase the length is doubled so it is 6.8 meters long.

I hope this answer helps.

Differentiation requires __________ of particular genes to produce populations with __________ capabilities that form tissues. d
exis [7]

Answer;

-Inactivation; limited

Differentiation requires inactivation of particular genes to produce populations with limited capabilities that form tissues.

Explanation;

-Cell differentiation is how generic embryonic cells become specialized cells. This occurs through a process called gene expression.

-Gene expression is the specific combination of genes that are turned on or off (expressed or repressed), and this is what dictates how a cell functions.

-Gene expression plays a critical role in the morphological changes that take place in a developing embryo and fetus and in the differentiation of stem cells to form specialized cells.
