 TNT has the molecular formula: C7H5N3O6. And hence, when reacted in oxygen gas, you get what is known as <span>combustion</span> reaction. the reaction is: <span><span>C7</span><span>H5</span><span>N3</span><span>O6</span>+<span>O2</span>→C<span>O2</span>+<span>N2</span>+<span>H2</span><span>O</span></span>

Fluorine has an atomic number of 9, how many electron shells does it have?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
2 shells because if you do the electronic configuration:
 2,7 which adds up to 9
7 stands for the group it in and it also stands for how many electrons are in the outer shell.
the amount of spaces stands for which period its in therefore it in period 2

How much heat is absorbed by 15.5g of water when it's temperature is increased from 20.0C the specific heat of the water is 4.18
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
Hello!

The exercise doesn't say the final temperature, but we are going to assume that the increase is of 20 °C (The procedure is the same, just change the final temperature) To calculate the heat absorbed by water, we need to use the equation for Heat Transfer, in the following way (assuming that the heat increase is 20°C):

Q=m*C* \Delta T=15,5 g * 4,184 (J/g^\circ C) * 20 ^\circ C=1297,04 J

So, the Heat absorbed by water is 1297,04 J
