-2 is your right answer

The answer is -2 because any number times a NEGATIVE number ( unless it's a negative and a negative ) makes a negative number.

So 2 times 1 is 2. And then just add the negative sign.

For the function p defined by p(m)=2m2−4m+3, find p(13).
A. 41/9
B. 17/9
C. 5
D. 1.8
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

Here we have:

p(m) = 2m^2 - 4m + 3

And we want to find p(13)

This means that we just need to replace all the m's by the number 13 in the equation, so we get:

p(13) = 2*(m = 13)^2 - 4*(m = 13) + 3

p(13) = 2*(13)^2 - 4*13 + 3

       = 338 - 52 + 3 = 289

You can see that none of the options matches this, so maybe the equation or some other part of the question is written incorrectly, but here you have at least the general way of solving these type of problems.

Then plug in your variebles

A=2( 1.33*1.5+5+1.5+5+1.33)

This comes out to be A≈32 \frac{3}{10}

Provide a) the **EQUATION** and b) the solution for the following:
ivolga24 [154]

Answer:

y= 2x + 85

y= $555

x= $235

Step-by-step explanation:

Let y be the amount the senior class raised

Let x be the amount the freshmen class raised

Insert known values

$555 = 2x + $85

Subtract 85 from both sides

$470 = 2x

Isolate the variable (x) by dividing each side by 2

$235 = x

Hope this helps! :)
