Answer:

32% of the students did not have a pet.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the total students (100%):

  1. 1/4 of them had a dog only, \frac{1}{4}=0.25=25\%. Then, 25% had a dog only.
  2. 20% only had a cat.
  3. 15% had multiple pets.
  4. 0.08=8% only had other than cats or dogs.
  5. <u>Adding up all these cases, we obtain the proportion of students that had at least one pet:</u> 25\%+20\%+15\%+8\%=68\%. Then, 68% of the students did have a pet.
  6. The rest of the students 100\%-68\%=32\%, did not have any pet.

Mr. Daten gave his class a 20-point quiz. The results of that quiz are shown below.
mixer [17]
To evaluate the data set shown we need to rearrange the sets from smallest to the largest
5,7,10,10,12,12,12,13,15,17,18,18,18,19,20,20
thus the:
first quarter, Q1 will be:
(10+7)/2
17/2
=8.5

second, Median
(13+15)/2
=28/2
=14

Third quarter, Q3:
(19+20)/2
=39/2
=19.5

Thus you can use the values obtained to mark the number line.

Simplify the expression (2sqrt27) x (3sqrt32)
mars1129 [50]
The first step for solving this expression is to simplify the radical in the first set of parenthesis.
(6\sqrt{3}) × (3\sqrt{32})
Simplify the radical in the second set of parenthesis.
(6\sqrt{3}) × (12\sqrt{2})
Remove the parenthesis off of both sets.
6\sqrt{3} × 12\sqrt{2}
Now calculate thee product to find your final answer.
72\sqrt{6}
This means that the correct answer to your question is going to be 72\sqrt{6},, or option B.
