I believe a physical change is one where the physical makeup of a substance is altered as opposed to a chemical change or molecular one which happens on a smaller scale. This would make me think that B. metal denting is accurate since all the other options are examples of chemical or molecular changes. A is an example of a liquid turning into a gas, which is a molecular change. The other two are chemical changes. Hope this is correct.

Measuring the diameter of a specific object might include which pair of SI units
VLD [36.1K]

Well, the diameter of a circle is simply a length, so your measurement will have units of length. We just have to find an answer that has only units of length.

A). gram, second . . . mass and time. That can't be it.

B). kilogram, ampere . . . mass and current. That can't be it.

C). centimeter, meter . . . both lengths. This one is looking good.

D). candela, mole . . . light intensity and some chemical thing. That can't be it.

So it can't be anything else on this list but C .

Alexandra drops an egg from 30 m above the ground to hit Vanessa on the head. If Vanessa stands 3.5 meters tall. How fast is the
I am Lyosha [343]

This is problem of free falling objects, which can be solved using the formula:

V = sqrt(2gy)

Where v is the velocity upon impact

G is the acceleration due to gravity ( 9.81 m/s2)

Y is the height

Since Venessa is 3.5 m

Y = 30 -3.5 = 26.5 m

V = sqrt(2 (9.81 m/s2) ( 26.5 m))

V = 22.8 m/s

What makes a funnel appear black
fredd [130]

Answer:

Air

Explanation:

The mixing of cooler air in the lower troposphere with air flowing in a different direction in the middle troposphere causes the rotation on a horizontal axis, which, when deflected and tightened vertically by convective updrafts, forms a vertical rotation that can cause condensation to form a funnel cloud.
