Robespierre's rule in France was known as the "Reign of Terror" because it was the phase of the French Revolution more violent and radical. The mark of this phase was the elimination of all enemies or opponents. Robespierre was the leader of the Jacobins (small entrepreneurs and liberal professionals) and with great participation of the poorest sections of the population, the phase lasted from 1792 to 1794.

How did this become known as the colfax county war
Brilliant_brown [7]

The Colfax County War was a range war that occurred from 1873 to 1888 between settlers and the new owners of the Maxwell Land Grant in Colfax County, in the U.S. state of New Mexico. The war started when the new landowners tried to remove the local settlers from the land they had just bought. The locals refused to leave, as they had settled much of their livelihood in the grant, which resulted in conflict and violence in 1875.

Hope that helps!

When A member of federal government speaks up is that person expressing an opinion or trying to exert influence?
Kipish [7]
If this is a serious question in the education system, I’m very confused and hope that your joking...

Well, it depends, on behalf of the government, it’s probably “trying to exert influence”.

It wouldn’t be there opinion because that’s not what they are usually supposed to give, they should be giving facts, which would persuade or “influence” you to pick a certain side.
