43/28 (or 1 15/28)

9/4 = 63/28 and 5/7 = 20/28
63/28 - 20/28 = 43/28

Find Mean, Median, mode and range. Round to the nearest tenth.
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

Mean =26.2

Median=27

Mode=32

Range=38

Step-by-step explanation:

From the stem and leaf plot, we obtain the original data as:

9,11,12,12,14,17,25,25,27,32,32,32,33,35,41,42,47

The median is middle observation of the array.

Thebefore the median is 27

The mode is the number that occurs most.

The mode is 32.

The range is the highest observation minus the least observation.

The range is 47-9=38

The mean is given by:

\bar x =  \frac{9 + 11 + 12 + 12 + 14 + 17 + 25 + 25 + 27 + 32 + 32 + 32 + 33 + 35 + 41 + 42 + 47}{17}

\bar x =  \frac{446}{17}  = 26.24

Determine whether the triangles are similar. If so, write a similarity statement and name the postulate or the theorem you used.
neonofarm [45]
The first pair of triangles are similar.

Triangle ABC is similar to Triangle PQR.

I used the SSS theorem of congruency.

( side - side - side) since I knew the sides were equal I knew that they were congruent.

----------------------------------------------------------

The second pair of triangles are similar too.

Triangle ABC is similar to Triangle DEF.

I also used the SSS theorem of congruency.

Since I knew what the sides were, I did some calculations and they all equalled 6...

----------------------------------------------------------

I hope that helps you out!! Any more questions??

11.) Evaluate the integral
bezimeni [28]

You can start with the indefinite integral

... ∫e^(ax)·dx = (1/a)e^(ax) +c

Then your definite integral is

\int\limits_{-3}^{10}{e^{-0.025x}}\,dx=\dfrac{-1}{.025}\left(e^{-0.025\cdot 10}-e^{-0.025\cdot(-3)}\right)\\\\=40\left(e^{.075}-e^{-0.25}\right)\\\\ \approx11.9633

How to factor quadratic equations
timama [110]
Step 1: find two numbers that multiply to give ac ( in other words a x c ) and add to give b

step 2: rewrite the middle with those numbers

step 3: factor the first two and last two terms separately

step 4: if you’ve done this correctly, your two new terms should have a clearly visible common factor

and then you’re done! hope this helps!
