The length of one base of a trapezoid is 44, the median is 36, and the other base is 2x + 10.
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

The answer is "9"

Step-by-step explanation:

Given value:

length of trapezoid = 44

Another length = 2x+10

median = 36

formula:

median =(first length + second length) /2

36 = \frac{(44+  2x+10)}{2}\\\\ 36 = \frac{54+2x}{2}\\\\36 \times 2 = 54 +2x\\\\72 =54 +2x\\\\2x= 72-54\\\\2x= 18\\\\x= 9

What is f(x)=2(3)^x?
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

This is an exponential function

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=2(3)^x is one example of the exponential function.  Since f(0) = 2(1) = 2, the y-intercept is (0, 2).  The x-axis is the horizontal asymptote.  The graph begins in Quadrant II, passes through (0, 2) and continues to increase, faster and faster, in Quadrant I.  Next time, please be more specific about what you'd like to know.

I'm assuming you're looking to find the expanded form of the number?

This number is in scientific notation. The easiest way to convert it to a normal number is to move the decimal place 14 to the right. I've attached a picture showing how to do this. You should get 630,000,000,000,000

There's a faster way to do this - notice that you need to move the decimal 14 to the right, and there's one number already after the decimal place. Therefore, 13 places will be filled with zeros. So, just write out 63 and add 13 zeros.

For more general help on scientific notation, check out these videos: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/pre-algebra/pre-algebra-exponents-radicals/pre-algebra-scientific-notation/v/scientific-notation-old

Hope that helps! Feel free to message me or leave a comment if I can clarify anything :)

Area of paralellogram with base 15cm and height12cm
azamat

Answer:

180 cm2

Area of a polyhedron:

15(=base)x12(=height)

=180cm2

btw parallelogram is a 2D pic how you can come out a ''base'' and ''height''? It should be called a polyhedron. Your question is weird.

If so, your ''area of parallelogram'' is 15cm2 since your question is hecking  weird.

Btw it's 15cm2 not 15
