Answer: Teaching given by Marta is about the language usage so that control over intense feeling can be achieved

Explanation: As Marta's son got tired from the zoo trip and also got slight injury on the knee , she is trying to calm him with the talk as he is angry and upset. The intense feeling of anger and distress is required to be calmed doen so Marta is taking about the good events of the zoo.

Language in the form of taking is playing the role as the controlling medium. By talking about fun and tiring day she is trying to teach Roberto about the controlling the intense feeling through the medium of language.

How can political parties be reformed ?
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Explanation:

Point-wise explanation is given below:

i) The anti-defection law was introduced to curb the growing trend of elected representatives who changed political parties to become ministers or to get cash rewards.

ii) The affidavit requirement was an order passed by the Supreme Court as a measure to curb the challenge of money and muscle power.

iii) The third reform measure was made by the Election Commission where for all political parties it was mandatory to hold regular elections and also file their income tax returns.

Besides these, many suggestions are often made to reform political parties:

iv) It should be made mandatory for political parties to give a minimum number of tickets, about one-third, to women candidates. Similarly, there should be a quota for women in the decision-making bodies of the party.

v) There should be state funding of elections. The government should give parties money to support their election expenses. This support could be given in kind: petrol, paper, telephone etc. Or it could be given in cash on the basis of the votes secured by the party in the last election.

What are the implications of a society that focuses on maximizing pleasure and minimizing pain?
Phantasy [73]

This is a question that refers to philosophical utilitarianism.

It is the search for the maximum happiness and pleasure, with the least possible suffering, but with an implicit moral question. When we are led to the feeling of pain or pleasure, we determine the way forward and know what is right or wrong.

In this way, it is possible that we are facing a moral dilemma. In our quest for happiness or minimizing our pain, our actions can impact others. That is, utilitarianism is essentially a teleological and consequentialist theory. Therefore, we must seek the impartial maximization of the happiness of all affected by our attitudes, regardless of the affective ties.
