<span>0=2x+3(3x-4)-(-x+14)
Follow BEDMAS
</span><span>0=2x+9x-12-(-x+14)
</span>0=2x+9x-12+x-14
Add like terms
0=11x-12+x-14
0=12x-12-14
0=12x-26
Flip the eqaution
12x-26=0
Move -26 across the equal sign
12x=0+26
12x=26
x=26/12
x=13/6

Hope this helps! A thanks/brainiest answer would be appreciated :)

The ping pong ball is a sphere and has a volume of 1.77in. What is the diameter of the ping pong ball?
frez [133]

Answer:

d =1.501060821 in

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a sphere is given by

V = 4/3 pi r^3

The volume is 1.77 in^3

1.77 = 4/3 (3.14) r^3

1.77 = 4.1866666 r^3

Divide each side by 4.18666666

1.77/4.18666666 = r^3

.422770701 = r^3

Take the cube root of each side

(.422770701)^(1/3) = (r^3)^1/3

.75053041 = r

But we want to find the diameter.  The diameter is twice the radius.

d= 2r

d = 2(.75053041)

d =1.501060821 in

You purchase 2 action figures per week. You have 48 action figures, which is 75% of the total number of action figures you need
LiRa [457]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total number of action figures = x

75% of x = 48

\dfrac{75}{100}*x=48\\\\Multiply \ by \ 100\\\\75*x =48*100\\\\Divide  \ by \ 75\\\\x=\dfrac{48*100}{75}\\\\\\x=16*4\\\\x= 64

Remaining action figures need to be collected = total figures - number of action figures I have

= 64 - 48 = 16

Number of weeks = 16 ÷ 2 = 8

It will take 8 weeks to collect 16 action figures.

Find the value of the variable and MN if N is between M and Q. Round to the nearest hundredth if necessary.
Rudiy27
<em><u>Answer:</u></em>
MN = 4 units

<u><em>Explanation:</em></u>
<u>1- getting the value of m:</u>
<u>We are given that:</u>
NQ = 4m and NQ = 12
<u>This means that:</u>
12 = 4m
\frac{4m}{4} =  \frac{12}{4}
m = 3

<u>2- getting MQ:</u>
<u>We are given that:</u>
MQ = 5m + 1
<u>We have calculated that:</u>
m = 3
<u>Therefore:</u>
MQ = 5(3) + 1 = 15 + 1 = 16 units

<u>3- getting MN:</u>
We are given that point N is located somewhere between points M and Q.
<u>This means that:</u>
line MQ can be divided into two portions: MN and NQ
<u>This also means that:</u>
length of MQ = length of MN + length of NQ

<u>We have calculated that:</u>
MQ = 16 units
<u>We are given that:</u>
NQ = 12 units
<u>Therefore:</u>
16 = length of MN + 12
length of MN = 16 - 12
length of MN = 4 units

Hope this helps :)
