The simple answer is that 5 items can be arranged 5! (5 factorial) different ways. But let's expand upon that brief answer. We have 5 jobs and 5 machines with which to perform those jobs. So let's look at the 1st machine. Any of 5 of the jobs may be assigned to it. Now we have 4 jobs left unassigned. So let's look at the 2nd machine. For that machine, any of the 4 remaining jobs may be assigned to it, leaving 3 unassigned jobs. We can continue in that fashion, assigning at random one the of 3 remaining jobs to the 3rd machine, one of the 2 remaining jobs to the 4th machine, and finally, the only unassigned job to the 5th machine. So there's 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 5! = 120 different ways to assign those 5 jobs to all 5 machines.</span>

On January 1, Year 1, Li Company purchased an asset that cost $45,000. The asset had an expected useful life of five years and a
maw [93]

Answer:

$9,450

Explanation:

In straight line depreciation the Depreciable value (Cost of asset - Salvage value of asset) is expensed over useful life of the asset. Each year same value of expense is charged.

When the salvage value is revised the value of depreciation will also be revised.

First we will calculate the Book value at the beginning of year 4.

Depreciable value = $45,000 - $9,000 = $36,000

Depreciation per year = $36,000 / 5 years = $7,200 per year

Book Value at start of year 4 = $45,000 - ($7,200 x 3 ) = $23,400

after revision of salvage value:

Depreciable value at start of year 4 = $23,400 - $4,500 = $18,900

Numbers of year remaining = 5 - 3 = 2 years

Depreciation each year = $18,900 / 2 = $9,450

Juliette [100K]

What is the difference between an "I" statement and a "You" statement? A. The "I" statement is non-confrontational. When you are speaking to someone else and you start with I, it is non-confrontational because you are talking about yourself. If you start a sentence with "you" sometimes the other person may take offense to that and think you are wanting to start an argument.

To calculate the marginal utility of consuming the Nth product: a. divide total satisfaction from consuming all N products by N.
Virty [35]

Answer:

c. Subtract total satisfaction from consuming N - 1 (first) products from total satisfaction from consuming N products

Explanation:

By definition, marginal utility of consuming one more unit of product or service is the additional satisfaction of consuming that unit of product or service.

That additional satisfaction from (consuming) the Nth products = total satisfaction from (consuming) all N products - satisfaction from consuming (first) N - 1 products

(first) should be added, because you are finding the satisfaction from the last consumed product.
