The simple answer is that 5 items can be arranged 5! (5 factorial) different ways. But let's expand upon that brief answer. We have 5 jobs and 5 machines with which to perform those jobs. So let's look at the 1st machine. Any of 5 of the jobs may be assigned to it. Now we have 4 jobs left unassigned. So let's look at the 2nd machine. For that machine, any of the 4 remaining jobs may be assigned to it, leaving 3 unassigned jobs. We can continue in that fashion, assigning at random one the of 3 remaining jobs to the 3rd machine, one of the 2 remaining jobs to the 4th machine, and finally, the only unassigned job to the 5th machine. So there's 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 5! = 120 different ways to assign those 5 jobs to all 5 machines.

Sav [38]

Answer: targeting

Explanation: In simple words, targeting strategies refers to the strategy involving the selection of potential customers and product that will be offered to those customers.

In the given case, Chandler is doing a minor change in the presentation of the goods offered so that he can target different type of customers. In the first store he is trying to target the high value customers by arranging the goods in a sophisticated manner and in the second one he is targeting the common customer.

Hence from the above we can conclude that Kumar is using different targeting strategies.

Howie Long has just learned he has won a $500,000 prize in the lottery. The lottery has given him two options for receiving the
Contact [7]

This decision will depend on whether or not Howie needs immediate money and the rate of inflation. Assuming there is no inflation, as the issue did not mention it, and Howie prefers the decision that yields the greatest financial reward, simply calculate and lower the tax in each situation, and then compare them.

Scenario 1: Total receipt upon ticket delivery with 46% deduction

46% = 46 \ 100 = 0.46

To find the value to be deducted, let's multiply the total by 0.46

500,000 * 0.46 = $ 230,000

That way Howie would get $ 500,000- $ 230000 = $ 270,000

Scenario 2: 25 installments of $ 36,000 with 25% deduction

The gross total will be 25x $ 36,000 = $ 900,000

Now it is enough to decrease 25% of the total amount, to find the amount of the tax.

25% = 25 \ 100 = 0.25

$ 900,000 * 0.25 = $ 225,000

Finally, simply decrease the amount received by the tax amount:

$ 900,000- $ 225,000 = $ 675,000

Therefore, Howie would be better off if he opted for the installment payment.

What role do sources play in validating an argument? Are we able to rely on the internet to provide complete and truthful inform
Andrej [43]

Incomplete question. However, I answered from a general research perspective.

Explanation:

What role do sources play in validating an argument?

Well, the term source basically refers to the originator of any information. We have sources that are considered credible sources (like Encyclopedia, Journal Magazine, Newspaper, etc) and others that are considered incredible sources (general social media post). Knowing the kind of source could thus help validate an argument.

Relying on the internet to provide complete and truthful information is difficult considering the amount of fake news available today.
