Carter made a model of a boat. The length of the actual boat is 45 feet. Carter’s model has a length of 7 1/2 inches. What scale
Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

Option C)1 in. = 6 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Up to know we have the following equality:

45 f = 7 1/2 in

Or what is the same that:

45 f = 7.5 in

If we divide both sides of the equation by 7.5 we will get the equivalence to 1 inch:

45/7.5 f = 7.5/7.5 in

6 = 1 in

So, the correct answer if option C)1 in. = 6 ft

Wirte a decimal for each of the following 9x100+2x10+3x0.1+7x0.001
borishaifa [10]

We need to perform multiplication and addition property for this problem to represent the final result in decimal form. So, the expression is,

9x100+2x10+3x0.1+7x0.001 .

Now 9 x 100= 900

2 x= 10= 20

3x0.1= 0.3

7x 0.001=0.007

Now we can all the numbers. Hence,

900+20+0.3+0.007=920.307

So, the decimal number is 930.307.

12 meters in 28 seconds
AURORKA [14]
To find 12 meters in 28 seconds, you will divide the 12 by 28 as follows:
12 / 28 = 3/7

Dividing distance by time usually gives you velocity. This means that moving 12 meters in 28 seconds means that the object moves 3/7 meters in one second.

What is the step by step process of this problem? 6+2[-8-3(2x+4)]+10x
Romashka [77]

So with more than one pair of parentheses, you must start from the inside and make your way outside.

So firstly, distribute -3 to (2x + 4):

6+2[-8-6x-12]+10x

Next, combine like terms:

6+2[-6x-20]+10x

Next, distribute 2 to [-6x - 20]:

6-12x-40+10x

Lastly, combine like terms and your final answer will be -2x-34

1. Find the Area of the given circle. Round to the nearest tenth.
ruslelena [56]
Hey there Panda!

Question #1

(3.5*3.14 = 10.99 rounded would be 11) 11 is your answer.

Question #2

The circumference equals 21.99, but rounding it would be 22.00

Question #3

We divide 12/2 and from this we get 6. We doing (6*3.14) and then multiply by 2 and then divide by it's circumference and then we get it area. The answer that I got was 452.39, but from looking at your options, your correct answer would be 452.2 (ft)

Question #4

So, by looking at this weird shape, we see that the integer's are 8 by 5. When doing area, we often multiply. As we do this with these number's, we get 40.

We do 8/4 = 2; 5/2 = 2.5. So, from doing this, we get 90.2 (ft).

Question #5

With this last question, I believe that the answer may be C.) So, what I did was I did the radius x's 3.14 and got 6.28 then minus 10 and got around 3.

Hope this helps.
