HELP FIRST TO ANSWER ALL IS BRAINLEIST!!!!!!!!!
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

1. D) 1 9/20

2. B) 7/12

4. D) $50.00

Step-by-step explanation:

The working is as follows :

1. Mrs. Lang bought 3/4 pound of red grapes and 7/10 pound of green grapes. To find out how many are in total we have to add both values total.

3/4 + 7/10

The LCM of 4 and 10 is 20.

3/4 * 5 = 15/20

7/10 * 2 = 14/20

15/20 + 14/20 = 29/20 = 1 9/20

2. 1/3 + 1/4

The LCM of 3 and 4 is 12

1/3 * 4 = 4/12

1/4 * 3 = 3/12

4/12 + 3/12 = 7/12

4. Sharon spent 2/3 of her clothing allowance; she was given $75. All we have to do is find 2/3 of $25 :

2/3 * $75 = $50.00

Describe and correct the error in finding the measure of the angle
DerKrebs [107]

Sorry, it's late, and I'm a bad explainer.

The error is adding (2x-12) with x and 30. This is wrong because you are adding the angles inside the triangle and you are assuming that (2x - 12) is the unlabeled angle INSIDE the triangle, when it is the exterior angle/outside of the triangle.

A straight line is also 180°.

(2x - 12) + ? = 180

30 + x + ? = 180

If you look at the equations, and put parentheses around 30 + x, (30 + x) and (2x - 12) should be the SAME NUMBER. So you could set them equal to each other to find x. (or you could also look at the picture and see that they both need/are missing the same angle)

2x - 12 = 30 + x

x = 42

Now you plug 42 into the exterior angle equation

2(42) - 12 = 84 - 12 = 72°

Divide and write in simplest form 4/7 divided by 1 1/7
IrinaVladis [17]

First, change the mixed fraction into improper fraction

1 1/7 = 7/7 + 1/7 = 8/7

(4/7)/(8/7)

To solve, flip the second fraction, and change the division into multiplication

(4/7)/(8/7) = (4/7) x (7/8)

Multiply, and simplify

(4/7) x (7/8) = 28/56, or 1/2

1/2 is your answer

hope this helps

Please answer this correctly without making mistakes I want ace expert and genius people to answer this correctly without making
sergejj [24]

Answer: 38

Step-by-step explanation: to evaluate an expression for these variables, plug in those numbers for the variables.

Plugging in -1 for y and -19 for z gets you this:

-2(-1)^2(-19)

Now simplify according to order of operations (PEMDAS - parenthesis exponents multiplication/division addition/subtraction)

-1^2 = 1

-2(1) = -2

-2(-19) = 38

Your answer is 38
