Answer:

$23.298

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of 1 sphere be x

Cost of 8 stone spheres = 8x

Cost of 3 stone spheres = 3x

Cost of 1 cylinder = $38.83

Cost of 4 stone cylinders = 4 \times 38.83 =155.32

Cost of 7 stone cylinders =  7 \times 38.83 =271.81

Now Cost of 8 stones spheres and 4 stone cylinders = 8x+155.32

Cost of 3 stone spheres and 7 stone cylinders = 3x+271.81

Now we are given that  For the same amount, she can buy 3 stone spheres and 7 stone cylinders.

So, 8x+155.32=3x+271.81

5x=271.81-155.32

5x=116.49

x=\frac{116.49}{5}

x=23.298

Hence each stone sphere cost is $23.298
