3/2 ÷ 1/4  is 3/2 x 4/1 (the reciprocal)
Since 3/2 is the same as 1  1/2 we are asking how much are 4 x 1 1/2
Think money
1 1/2 is like $1.50
If I had $1.50 two times - I'd have $3.00
If I had $1.50 four times - I'd have twice as much or $6.00

Now I know that 6 is between 5 and 7 so answer c. is correct
You could also just multiply 3/2 x 4/1 but I think my explanation helps you understand it better than just using the multiplication algorithm.

13)The final grade on your math exam was determined by the function f(x) = 100 - 2x. Which statements are correct?
Yuki888 [10]

Answer:

A, B, D

Step-by-step explanation:

from this function, we can see that 2x is being subtracted from 100. x is the number of incorrect problems, so this can not be a negative value. therefore, the maximum score you can get is 100. y is equal to your final grade as calculating the right side of the equation results in the grade you receive based on the number of incorrect answers. this is a linear function since its highest power is 1. each question is worth 2 points as 2 is being multiplied by the number of incorrect questions (x).
