-3(3f+4s=523)+(9f+3s=507)

-9f-12s+9f+3s=-1569+507

-9s=-1062

s=118,  making 3f+4s=523 become:

3f+472=523

3f=51

f=17

So the reels are $17 each and the rods are $118 each.

Answer:

The percent markup is, \simeq 60.89 % .

Step-by-step explanation:

A pair of shoes cost $ 22.99 to make, the local store sells them for $ 36.99.

So, the increased value for each pair of shoes,

= $ (36.99 - 22.99)

=$ 14

So, the percent markup is,

\frac {14 \times 100}{22.99} %

\simeq 60.89 %
