Well If you start with $39 you will need to turn your 15% into a decimal which is .15 Multiply that by your 39 and you get 5.85 that is your discount price so now subtract that from 39 to get 33.15

Show step by step......
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Amount paid for first 100 watches = (65% of 80) *100

                                                        =\frac{65}{100}*80*100\\\\= 65*80\\= 5200

Amount paid for next 50 watches = (55% of 80) * 50

                                                        = \frac{55}{100}*80*50\\\\= 55 * 8 * 5\\\\= 2200

Remaining watches = 280 -(100+ 55)

                                 = 280 - 155 = 125

Amount paid for 125 watches = (45% of 80) *125

                                                  = \frac{45}{100}*80*125\\\\= 45 * 20 * 5\\\\= 4500

Amount received by the watch maker = 5200 + 2200 + 4500

                                                               = £ 11900
