Answer:

Monty can find an equivalent fraction greater than 6 by multiplying a factor to each part of the fraction. However, in this case that's not possible because that's a proper fraction which meas the result will be always less than zero, no matter which equivalent fraction you find, it will always be a proper fraction.

On the other hand, we can find an equivalent fraction with a denominator less than 6. If we simplify the fraction, we can find it

\frac{4}{6}=\frac{4 \div 2}{6 \div 2}  =\frac{2}{3}

Therefore, 2/3 is an equivalent fraction with a denominator less than 6.

LEon made 4 liters of lemonade for the party, but it was too strong, it was 14% lemon juice. How much 8% lemonade should he add
dsp73
<span>Item       Number of Liters          Percentage of LemoneA                    4        14%B                    x         8%Result           4+x            10%
For a mixture of solutions to form a resulting solution, we know
V1 * N1 + v2 * N2 = V * N
where, V1 = Volume of mixture of 1 N1 = Concentration of mixture 1V2 = Volume of mixture of 2 N2 = Concentration of mixture 2
V = volume of mixture N = Concentration of mixture
So solving we get:
(4+x)*10 = 4*14 + x * 8or, 10x-8x = 4*14-4*10or, 2x = 16or x = 8
so 8 litres of the solution B must be added to the solution<span>

Manny is an online student who currently owns an older car that is fully paid for. He drives, on average, 110 miles per week to
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

The new car costs more

Old car = $5062.125

New car = $7161.357

Step-by-step explanation:

Manny drives an average of 110 miles per week with his old car. The old car gets 16 miles per gallon. The cost per gallon is $2.65 repair and Maintainance costs an average of $740 per year.

For the old car, to find the amount spent on the car we have

110/16 * 2.65 = $18.21875 / week

There are 52 weeks in a year. We have

10.21875*52 = $ 947.375

947.375 + 740

= $1687.375

= 1687.357 * 3

= $5062.125

The new car cost $6500 over a three year loan process.

The car gets 28 miles per gallon. It requires a maintenance f $10 per month. For the new car to find the amount, we have

110*28 * 2.65 *52 = $541.357

541.357 + 10(12) + 6500

= $7161.357
