I think it's 45% because you'd have to convert 20 to 100 by multiplying 20 by 5 and if you multiply 20 by 5, you'd have to do the same to 11.And 11 ×5 =55, and 100-55=45
So,it's 45%
(there's most likely a chance that my answer is wrong because I think is a middle school question and I'm in 5th grade)

The diameter of a circle is 12 miles, what is the length of the 180 degree arc in the simplest form?
laila [671]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  6π ≈ 18.8 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

The full circumference of a 12-mile circle is ...

  C = πd

  C = π(12 mi)

So, half the circumference of the circle is ...

  arc length = 1/2C = (12π mi)/2 = 6π mi ≈ 18.8 mi

When x = 6.4, y=117, therefore
15*6.4 + b = 117
b = 117 -  96 = 21

Confirm this value by checking (6.6, 120).
15*6.6 + 21 = 120 (Correct)

Answer: b = 21

15% tip to 100 cents why does this make a unit less factor?
evablogger [386]
15% and the corresponding 0.15 is by necessity unit-less; it's just a multiplier.  If you run up a $1 bill and wish to tip 15%, multiply $1 by 0.15, obtaining $0.15.
Then the total due would be $1 plus $0.15, or $1.15.

Note that $0.15

If x/9 < 2/5 and x is a positive integer, how many distinct values are possible for x?
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

  3

Step-by-step explanation:

Solving the inequality gives ...

  x/9 < 2/5

  x < 18/5 . . . . multiply by 9

Applying the problem restrictions, we have ...

  0 < x < 3.6 . . . . . x is an integer

Solutions are {1, 2, 3}. There are 3 distinct possible values for x.

Find the smallest positive integer x which is greater than 1 and relatively prime to 120 (recall that relatively prime means tha
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer: 7

Explanation:

List out the factors of 120 until we hit a gap

1,2,3,4,5,6,8

Note that 7 is not shown above. We can see that 120/7 = 17.14 approximately meaning that 7 doesn't go evenly into 120. So this is why 7 isn't a factor. Something like 3 is a factor because 120/3 = 40 is a whole number result.

Also, 7 is prime. The only factors of 7 are 1 and itself. This means that 7 and 120 do not have any common factors other than 1. The GCF of 7 and 120 is 1, leading to the two numbers being relatively prime

Side note: The term "coprime" is sometimes used in place of "relatively prime"
