Wilson is 6 years older than Mary. Wilson's age is 10 years less than five times Mary's age. The equations below model the relat

ionship between Wilson's age (w) and Mary's age (m):
w = m + 6
w = 5m - 10
Which is a possible correct method to find Wilson's and Mary's ages?
Solve W + 6 = 5w - 10 to find the value of w.
Write the points where the graphs of the equations intersect the x axis.
Solve m + 6 = 5m - 10 to find the value of m.
Write the points where the graphs of the equations intersect the y axis.

Answer:

Wilson is 6 older than mary

w=6+m

wilson is 10 less than 5 times mary

w=-10+5m

w=5m-10

so now we set them eqal to each other since both equal w

m+6=w=5m-10

m+6=5m-10

minus m both sides

6=4m-10

add 10 to both sides

16=4m

divide both sides by 4

4=m

sub back

w=m+6

w=4+6

w=10

wilson=10

mary=4

the correct method is math

const2013 [10]

Answer:

The series Diverges ; The series is a constant multiple of harmonic series

Step-by-step explanation:

The series :

1/5 + 1/10 + 1/15 + 1/20 + 1/25

The series  can be expressed as :

a1 = 1 / 5*1

a2 = 1 / 5*2

a3 = 1 / 5*3

a4 = 1 / 5*4

a5 = 1 / 5*5

hence we can write a_{n} as ;  a

Riley purchased a 30-day International cell phone plan for use during winter break. There is a one-time fee of $35 and it includ
Licemer1 [7]

Answer:

the cost of the plan in the case when 388MB is used is $101.64

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the cost of the plan in the case when 388MB is used

Given that

One time fee is $35

And, it involves 150 MB of data usage

Also for the extra megabyte it charges $0.28

So for 388MB, the cost of the plan is

= $35 + 0.28 × (388 MB - 150 MB)

= $35 + $66.64

= $101.64

Hence, the cost of the plan in the case when 388MB is used is $101.64
