You can build as many numbers as you like: just pick three primes and repeat them as required.

The only caution is that you have to pick large enough primes to make sure that the result is larger than 1000.

Since 10^3 = 1000, it is enough that the prime repeating three times is larger than 10.

So, for example, we can pick

  • 2, not repeating
  • 3, repeating twice
  • 11, repeating 3 times

The result is

2 \times 3^2 \times 11^3 = 23958

Determine if the events A and B are independent. Show all steps.
zmey [24]

<u><em></em></u>

Answer:

P(A U B )  = \frac{13}{25}

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>STEP:-1</em></u>

Given that events A and B are independent then

P(A ∩B ) = P(A) P(B)

Given that P(A) = 2/5 and P(B) = 1/5

<u><em>STEP:- 2</em></u>

P(A ∩B ) = P(A) P(B)

P(A U B) = P(A) +P(B) - P(A n B )

P(A U B ) = P(A) +P(B) - P(A) P(B)

<u><em>Step(iii):-</em></u>

<u><em></em></u>P(A U B ) = \frac{2}{5} +\frac{1}{5} - \frac{2}{5} X \frac{1}{5}<u><em></em></u>

<u><em></em></u>P(A U B ) = \frac{3}{5} - \frac{2}{5} X \frac{1}{5}<u><em></em></u>

<u><em></em></u>P(A U B ) = \frac{3}{5} - \frac{2}{25}<u><em></em></u>

<u><em></em></u>P(A U B ) = \frac{15-2}{25} = \frac{13}{25}<u><em></em></u>

In the equation 6x – 2 = –4x + 2, Spencer claims that the first step is to add 4x to both sides. Jeremiah claims that the first
Nataliya [291]
The real way is to subtract the term with the variable on the right first, but both Spencer and Jeremiah are correct. When you do them both, they arrive at the same answer, only that Spencer's would be 2/5, and Jeremiah's would be -2/-5, which is 2/5, because you divide negative by a negative. It doesn't matter which term with the variable you would cancel out first. Either way, you still arrive at the correct answer.

Apply the markup or markdown to each item and then find the retail sale price of the following items. Round to two decimal plac
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

5.98

Step-by-step explanation:

2.99 * 1= 2.99

2.99+2.99= 5.98

First you had to multiply 2.99 by 1 because 100% in decimal is 1.

You get 2.99 and you add it to the original price.

And that is how you get 5.98
