You can build as many numbers as you like: just pick three primes and repeat them as required.

The only caution is that you have to pick large enough primes to make sure that the result is larger than 1000.

Since 10^3 = 1000, it is enough that the prime repeating three times is larger than 10.

So, for example, we can pick

  • 2, not repeating
  • 3, repeating twice
  • 11, repeating 3 times

The result is

2 \times 3^2 \times 11^3 = 23958

  3. Corresponding angles are ones where they are in the same configuration of the 4 corner angle set up. Angles A and E are in the same northwest position. Another pair would be angles B and F in the northeast, and so on. Corresponding angles are congruent when we have parallel lines like this.
  4. Vertical angles form when we cross two lines. They are opposite one another and always congruent (regardless if the lines are parallel or not).
  5. Alternate interior angles are inside the parallel lines, and they are on alternating sides of the transversal cut. Alternate interior angles are congruent when we have parallel lines like this.
  6. Alternate exterior angles are the same idea as number 5, but now we're outside the parallel lines. Alternate exterior angles are congruent when we have parallel lines like this.
  7. Adjacent angles can be thought of as two rooms that share the same wall. Specifically, adjacent angles are two angles that share the same segment, line, or ray. The angles must also share the same vertex. In this case, any pair of adjacent angles always adds to 180 (though it won't be true for any random pair of adjacent angles for geometry problems later on).
  8. Simply list any angle that looks obtuse, ie any angle that is larger than 90 degrees.
  9. List any angle that is smaller than 90 degrees. It can be adjacent to whatever you picked for problem 8, but it could be any other acute angle as well.
  10. Refer to problem 7. In this case, adding any two adjacent angles together forms a straight line.

Write the rule for the linear function. Remember a function rule is written using f(x)
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

The rule for the linear function will be:

f(x) = -2x+5

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that linear function can be represented using the slope-intercept formula

y = mx+b

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

Given the function is linear

Taking two points from the table to determine the slope

  • (1, 3)
  • (2, 1)

\mathrm{Slope}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

\left(x_1,\:y_1\right)=\left(1,\:3\right),\:\left(x_2,\:y_2\right)=\left(2,\:1\right)

m=\frac{1-3}{2-1}

m=-2

Using the point-slope form of the line equation

y-y_1=m\left(x-x_1\right)

where m is the slope of the line and (x₁, y₁) is the point

substituting the values m = -2 and the point (1, 3)

y-y_1=m\left(x-x_1\right)

y - 3 = -2 (x-1)

y-3 = -2x+2

adding 3 to both sides

y-3+3 = -2x+2+3

y = -2x+5

or

f(x) = -2x+5

Therefore, the rule for the linear function will be:

f(x) = -2x+5
