Answer:

The distance between the points is 20.

Step-by-step explanation:

This could be calculated using the next equation:

Distance=\sqrt{(x2-x1)^{2} +(y2-y1)^{2} }

Using this equation with the given points:

W(x1=-6,y1=-8) and X(x2=6,y2=8)

Distance=\sqrt{(6-(-6))^{2} +(8-(-8))^{2} }

Distance=\sqrt{(12)^{2} +(16)^{2} }

Distance=\sqrt{144 + 256 }

Distance=\sqrt{400 }

Distance=20

The distance between the points is 20.

Which simplified fraction is equal to 0.17 (7 repeating)
Varvara68 [4.7K]
So here, I would first multiply 0.17777.... (Assume that that's x) by 10, then you get

10x = 1.777777...

And then subtract x from 10x and then you get 1.6.

So that means that

10x - x = 9x

and 1.7777... - 0.17777... = 1.6

So now to solve for x, divide both sides by 9

To get 1.6/9 = x

Or 16/90 = x

Or 8/45 = x

(That explanation made no sense)

How to solve duoble angle formulas with an angle not on the unit circle
lord [1]
I dont really know how to answer tht but hope this helps....A trigonometric equation is one in which the unknown to be solved for is an angle (call it θ) and that angle is in the argument of a trigonometric function such as sin, cos or tan. A trigonometric equation always has an infinite number of solutions, but it is customary to list only those angles between 0° and 360°.

What is the value of a? <br> Answer options: 27.5, 90, 45, 50
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

90°

Step-by-step explanation:

Arc a subtends and angle of 45° to the circumference of the circle

We know that;

An angle subtended by an arc to the center of a circle is twice the angle subtended by the same chord to the center of the circle.

Therefore, if arc a subtends and angle of 45° to the circumference of the circle then;

a will be = 45 × 2

              =  90°

Bradley is purchasing a new car for 37000. If the car loses 20%of its value every year, how much will the car be worth in 7 year
spayn [35]
ANSWER

After 7 years the car will worth, 7,759.5

EXPLANATION

The initial value of the car is 37000.

The rate of depreciation is 20%

In 7 years time, we can calculate the value of the car using the formula,

A=P(1-r\%)^n

We substitute the values into the formula to obtain,

A=37000(1-0.2)^7

A=37000(0.88)^7

A=7759.5 to the nearest tenth
